Last year, more than 48,000 people journeyed to the Black Rock Desert for Burning Man. 2011 marks the first year Burning Man tickets have sold out — a full month before the event no less — so it’s sure to be more massive than years past. Aside from checking off the necessary gear, supplies and equipment, if you haven’t gotten your wardrobe together yet, now’s a good time to start.

Hannah Stouffer, Illustration & Erotic Art Editor at Juxtapoz and former SF Station featured artist, is a talented illustrator whose client list and collaborators include Blood Is The New Black, The North Face, Levi’s, Vans, Sony and Nike. Her newest venture is her illustration-focused boutique The Tropics, which opened mid-July.
Renegade Craft Fair Preview
The worlds of retail and art intertwine this weekend at the Renegade Craft Fair. The fourth annual event, at Fort Mason July 9-10, features more than 200 artisan vendors carrying a variety of goods and educational workshops for attendees.
