This week’s best lit events include the release of The Moment, Chronicle bookstore’s grand reopening, and celeb stylist turned author Brand Goreski.
This Thursday, celebrate the release of The Moment, a collection of 125 writers and artists, at The Booksmith. The evening will include readings by nine authors, who will share their memorable, funny, tragic, and sometimes life-changing moments.
Thursday also marks the Grand Reopening of Chronicle Books, in newly revamped Metreon. The temporary Westfield Centre location will close and the Metreon location will reopen with a full weekend of grand opening activities. Take 20% off all purchases from Thursday March 8-Sunday March 11, and check out the full SF Station listing for details on this weekend’s grand opening events.
Next Tuesday, reality show star, celeb stylist and now author, Brad Goreski, will present his book, Born to Be Brad: My Life and Style, So Far, at Books Inc in the Castro. The book is part memoir, part style handbook, and definitely a fashionista and pop-culture junkie must-read.
