San Francisco Artist David Ball’s Pursuit of Happiness

Posted by Francisca Stewart on Jan 20, 2012 | Comments (0)

From February 2-25, catch San Francisco’s David Ball newest art exhibition, Harum Scarum, at 111 Minna Gallery. While Ball’s earlier work has appeared bleaker, his newest exhibition has a more hopeful feel to it. His art has always been a reflection of his personal state of mind, and Harum Scarum exposes his journey from a place of negativity to one filled with more positivity.

David Ball’s artistry is shown through collage and mixed media. His work is often influenced by relationship dynamics, social observations, and self-analysis. Included in the exhibition will be two other artists from California, Jesse Balmer and Katherine Brannock.
