Artists responsible for a Native American themed mural in San Francisco’s lower Polk Street neighborhood discuss their inspiration and intentions.

San Francisco artist Spencer Keeton Cunningham and Jak Fragua of Arizona created the large mural as part of the American Indian Occupation mural project. It’s located in Austin Alley between Bush Street and Pine Street on Polk Street and Frank Norris Alley, on the opposite side of Polk Street.
