This week’s top literary events kicks off with a very special Blek le Rat signing at the SFMOMA bookstore. This is huge.
This Thursday, meet the “godfather” of stencil graffiti, Xavier Prou (aka Blek le Rat), at the SFMOMA Museum Store. The Parisian born artist is celebrating 3 decades of street art with a highly anticipated book launch. Blek le Rat: The 30 Year Retrospective ($70, available at the SFMOMA Museum Store) is broken into two parts: Street Art and Fine Art. Get it and get it signed.
On Tuesday, take your pick between Ben Ehrenreich at City Lights or Evelyn Hively and Thomas Benet at Books Inc. in the Marina. The authors will read and sign from their latest work — Ehrenreich from his new novel, Ether; Hively and Benet from their latest, Darling Ro and the Benet Women.
